After a very busy couple months of my daughter's play and a week plus of sick kids I'm finally getting caught up with some of my scrapping! Yeah! I wanted to show you a couple of great kits I've worked with this week and there are several new ones that I'm just getting around to using so hopefully I'll have a freebie for you in the next week or so!

Check out this kit called Batter Up by Teri's Thing-O-My-Jigs. I'm not sure if this kit is still available. It says retired at her store, but there is still a link so you may want to check it out quick! Click on the preview to head to the stores.

Bad Bad Blogger...and a Sale!

Hey everybody! If anyone is still hanging with me! I've been a bad blogger and a bad CT member! I'm behind at Pretty Scrappy by 2 kits, I'm behind with JW-Digiscraps by at least 2 or 3 kits and now Kathy is back from vacation at The Latest Scoop, Too and I think I'm a kit behind there, too! Getting back into a routine now that all three kids are in school has been crazy. Just when I think I'm going to have a free day to catch up...one of the kids forgets his lunchbox in his Dad's car and off I go on the 20 minute trip (one-way) back to school! And then when evening comes...back on the 20 minute trip to play practice...Which is really very exciting because my 9 year old daughter landed a role in the local university theater department's play. We're talking GREAT opportunity! I think about 40-50 kids auditioned and only 3 kids are in the play. The rest are the theater majors. So we are excited for her...but we are busy. So here I sit outside of practice trying to catch up a little...

I'm getting back into the swing of things after vacation...I'm sure you know how that goes! Extra laundry, rotten kids, over-abundant garden, etc. etc! But I'm finally getting some scrapping time in! I got to work with a great kit from Ladybug Pages called "Whimsical Wonderland". I used the Girls portion of the kit, but she also has a cute Boys version, too! I love the soft colors and the kit was PERFECT for my daughter's play pictures with the magic wands and crowns! There is so much more to this kit that I didn't even use so you really should check out this kit. (I can't get the kit preview to work properly.) You can find it at Pretty Scrappy. First off...I've been scrapping! Yeah! I finished 2 layouts and a new desktop with the new kit Janice over at JW-Digiscraps will have for you on August 24th...but that's a teaser! Did you miss me? Probably not, but I'm back from vacation and ready to crank out some layouts. I was supposed to have internet while I was at the beach but unfortunately, that was not the case! So I missed a lot of happenings in digiland while I was away...
I'm so sorry, Janice, that I missed your opening! Yes, my sweet digifriend, Janice over at JW-Digiscraps opened her store over at Stuff To Scrap while I was away and I was a slacker! She has some great things going on so be sure you check back here and over at her blog for her Grand Opening. I've been busy creating with her new kit that will be available on August 24 so come back and check that out!

I've also gotten far behind on my CT work, not only for Janice, but also over at Pretty Scrappy, so I'm working hard to get caught up there, too and will have some great kits to share with you later this week.

update: I'm giving up on these images...if anyone can tell me how to fix it...let me know! It seems to only be the previews from Pretty Scrappy.

I don't know why my images aren't working for these great kits, but I'm going to try this one again! I've been trying to change the size so you can see the whole image, but I think blogger doesn't like how I'm changing things so its just kicking out the image...

Anyway, I did another speed scrap tonight over at Pretty Scrappy. This was a late one, but I haven't been sleeping well anyway, so I might as well scrap!
I used the kit "Just Pretty" by Just Passin'Thru because I love the colors and I wanted to show you the versatility of this kit. A few posts ago I told you this was a girly girl kit...well tonight I used it for my son jumping off the diving board! So much for only being able to use this kit for girly layouts! Check it out here.

I did a speed scrap over at Stuff to Scrap today and I love how this page turned out! I used a kit from Chris Greiser at Pretty Scrappy to do this layout called Lazy Days. When I saw this kit, I knew I had to have it for the pictures from my husband and my daughter's camping trip last year!

Two Layouts to share...

I just wanted to share two layouts I've made recently from two great kits over at Pretty Scrappy.

The first one is using a really pretty kit from Armina Designs called "Precious Mei". When I first saw it, I thought "beach" because of the weathered frames, but it really isn't a beach kit. I love the soft watercolor look of most of the papers. Head over to her store to see the full detail of this beautiful kit. I used this kit for the July Font Challenge over at Stuff to Scrap. Here is the kit preview and my layout.

The second kit I used was "Just Pretty" by Just Passin' Thru. the name says it all! Pretty colors, pretty papers, pretty embellishments...all for making pretty layouts. I'm always shocked when I open up my blog and I have a new follower! I know it's silly, but it really makes my day...so welcome CJAMSMOM!!! I'm so glad you are here and I hope you enjoy the kits and occasional freebies I offer! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Now I have a new kit to share with you. I told you that I'm now on the CT over at Pretty Scrappy and boy are there some great designers over there!! Every month I'll get to work with 3 different designers plus the huge collab kit that they put together monthly (I already showed you the Collab Drama King and if I have time I'll do a few more layouts with that one to show you) First off this month I used a great kit called About A Boy by Designs By Mel. It is a richly colored kit, great, of course, for all your boy layouts, but also great for a wide variety of things. I'm working on an outdoor layout using this great kit, but I wanted to go ahead and show it to you now so you can enjoy it, too!

Can you believe it's July already!?! Summer/this year/life is just flying by! It seems like my kids just got out of school and now they only have 7 weeks of summer vacation left! Oh my! And it seems like just yesterday I was telling you about all the exciting new things in the digi-world for the month of June and here it is...time to tell you about all the exciting things for JULY! And there are many things to tell you about!

First, my exciting news...I'm on the Creative Team at Pretty Scrappy! Yeah me! There are so many things going on over there this month. I can't wait to share them with you! I'll tell you all about it over the next several days, but first I want to tell you about the blog train over at Stuff to Scrap. It's called Those Summer Nights and the ending kit will be HUGE! I told you yesterday that I got to play with Keyr's (Dreams Inspired) mini-kit for the blog train...here is a preview of her portion and my LO. I may make it into a QP for you next week...I'll let you know. 'Til then, head over to Dreams Inspired and pick up Keyr's kit, then head off to the next stop for more fab downloads.

Dreamin' of Disney!

My kids bug us almost daily about going to Disney again! We've been 3 times in the last 4 1/2 years (not nearly enough IMO) and they have the itch to go again the minute we get home. I tell them we can't go again until I finish the album from the last trip and I think I just found the solution to that problem! Check out this revamped kit from Digi Designs by Nicole called "Dreamin' ". You guessed it! A Disney related kit! I think I'm going to have to get this one and I'll bet I can do almost my whole album with this one kit! It has 15 papers and over 40 elements! Hey everyone! Boy is it going to be busy around here the next few days! Since it is the beginning of the month, there is SO much to tell you . I'll mention everything briefly and then you'll have to come back over the next few days for all the details and downloads...grab your coffee...here we go...

First, the Stuff to Scrap June Blog Train is leaving the station on Monday, June 1! This month's theme is Daddy and Me and I have the privilege of showing you Janice's part from JW-DigiScraps.

How 'bout that Posh Baby!

I've been off the computer much of the last couple of days due to my real job and due to the fact that my county has had 20" of rain this month and yesterday we found out that our basement carpet is pretty much ruined thanks to all that rain! We've lived here for almost 4 years and never had a problem til now...this flooding business is really cutting into my scrapping time!

So tonight I decided to take a little break and check out all that I've missed over at Stuff to Scrap and I found the cutest kit for scrapping all those baby pictures. It's called Posh Baby. If you know me, then you know I don't have babies anymore. My youngest is almost 4. But if you know me very well then you also know I'm WAY behind in scrapping all my pictures. This kit will be great for motivating me to catch up on some of those cute baby pictures. This is all I need for scrapping both my baby girl pics and my baby boys pics!
